last night (or, afternoon, really, because afternoons are cheaper) elizabeth and i went to see "planet of the apes"! it was dumb. dumb dumb dumb. i mean, i had read reviews about how dumb it was? but i still thought "maybe everybody else in the world is stupid and doesn't appreciate good cinematic films about apes!" but really, *i* was the one who was wrong!

however.

ah-choo. ack. i just sneezed. sorry for the interruption.

however! marky mark DOES kiss a monkey in the movie!! i think that one of the three important things that films today are missing is monkey-kissing. i can't even remember the last time i saw some hot sexy monkeylove on the big screen! shame, hollywood!! shame.

(the other two things are, by the way, "full uncensored nudity" and "gratuitous breasts". i think i spelled gratuitous wrong.)
