it's me, scott.

ever since i went searching for "olive, the other reindeer" at bookstores yesterday afternoon, i've been thinking about things. let's list them, because we all know how much i love lists.

1. j. otto seibold is a really good artist. i need to get more of his stuff.

2. i love childrens books. love them! i love to go to a big bookstore on a saturday afternoon and just sit in the childrens section and look at all the different kinds of books.

3. i think that i'd really like to be an illustrator. i'm getting to the point where i'm not really so interested in computers anymore, and would like to move more into the art field. which brings me to...

4. i need to work on my portfolio.

i've obviously been thinking about art ever since i got out of high school, but always more in the area of design and advertising. and while i know i'd love any job where i got to do some sort of creative design, i think working all day drawing pictures for childrens literature would just be. so cool.

in other news, i'm feeling a lot better (despite the lack of soup, bitch.), though i have a lot going on this week. oil changes, and drug screenings, and vet appointments for kitty... yikes! and i don't even own a straw hat yet!
