dear internet,

it's me, scott.

ever since they installed some sort of new air conditioning system on monday, now every time it turns on and off, it sounds like there is a large jet taking off of the roof of our building. kind of distracting! although, on the contrary, if there actually were jets taking off every 10 minutes around here, that would make it kind of an exciting place to work!

i went to pick my parents up at the airport last night, and i got there early so i was talking to one of the united airlines workers. she said that the only experience you need to do their job (they all switch between ticketing, gate, counter, runway crap, luggage, etc) is to be 18 and have a drivers liscense! i always wondered about like, if the people down on the runway signaling the planes in were reject pilot wannabes or something (which they may be!), but apparently if i turn in an application, i too could do that!! the only downside being that 1) it starts at $8.75. screw that! and 2) i have no desire to really do that.

i have no idea where i am going for lunch today, but i'm really feckin' hungry. tuesday night i was at my mom's house doing laundry (stealing laundry detergent = good thing), and they were on vacation so they had emptied out their refrigerator. so. no dinner for me tuesday. yesterday, i went home on lunch to clean my apartment, because it was possible that i would have had people over. so, no lunch. and then i had people over last night, and didn't eat, and then i had to pick up my parents from the airport (as previously mentioned), and didn't get home until late. so. once again. no food! i haven't eaten anything for way too long!! i am going to wither away! and then, i will be a stick. like liza.

but thats better than being a big fattie like m3gan!!

(i'm just kidding. m3gan is not a big fattie. and she will probably read this sometime in the future and kick my ass if i weren't apologizing like this right now! she is. kind of violent.)

right. lunchtime now.

love,
scott.
